The Montague Hotel is a family-owned, popular local venue on the corner of Montague Road and Kurilpa Street, West End.
It now embraces the newly opened Zephyr Bar on the first floor. This has a different offering than the hotel downstars, with hand made cocktails, share food menu, an amazing fit out and a roof that opens up to the sky.
Known as ‘The Monty’, the venue is known for the best food in the West End and Brisbane, the hotel includes a restaurant, bar with vast assortment of beverages and wine choices, decks, sports bar and gaming room along with 3 Brisbane bottle shops. Striving to be known as the local for surrounding residents, efforts to incorporate local artists have been made, with the inside wall featuring a large mural by street artist Stewart Shuker.
Boutique Kitchens & Joinery is proud to have delivered the complete joinery for Zephyr Rooftop Bar at The Montague Hotel, including custom planters, banquette seating, booth seating, and toilet partitions — each piece crafted with absolute precision to match the design intent and exceed client expectations.
This transformation turned an unused office space into a 180-person rooftop playground featuring a thoughtful fit-out, open-air design and spaces ready for live music, celebrations and events. Precision craftsmanship and considered detailing ensure the venue looks as amazing as it functions.
